Welcome!

We’re the Browns. Originally Louisiana natives (from the heart of Cajun country) we now live in Northern Alabama. What started as an idea quickly blossomed into reality - and we hope to keep it going!

Several years ago we talked and dreamed of owning a 50 acre farm, building a farmhouse, rising our own food and livestock, growing trees for Christmas celebrations and “pick-your-own” berry patches for the warm, summer months. I’d talk of painting landscapes and he’d dream of carpentry projects. We hoped to rear loving family dogs and raise Easter Egger chicks for their colorful eggs. But most importantly, we wanted to get back to a “homegrown-homemade” lifestyle where our kids could experience life in the beauty of the countryside.

While we aren’t quite yet on our farmland, or even have blueprints for our future home, we are working to make it a reality.

Our mission with Brecklewood Farm is to bring the calm serenity of country living to you. We hope you’ll enjoy our handcrafted items, vintage collections, French-Country furniture, farm fresh eggs, berries, adorable Berners, and more!
